An extraordinary session of the Council of the Order was held this Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the headquarters of the ONIGC under the chairmanship of Engineer Kizito NGOA, President of the Order.

Were present or represented Engineers ABOUNA ZOA, ACHA, AWOH NDANG, AZOLA, BWEMBA, CHEUOUA, EBENYE EPACKA ep. MANGA, ELOM NGANE, MOGUE SOBNGWI ep. NGANE, MONGO ESSOMBE, NDONGO ZINGA, NGOA, NGUINDJEL, TAMO TATIETSE and TCHOUPLAOU, constituting largely the quorum necessary for the meeting.

This session was devoted to the continuation of the electoral process, after the postponement of the work of the Elective General Assembly held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Yaoundé, for lack of quorum.

Thus, in strict compliance with the regulatory provisions, and in particular article 13 paragraph 4 of the Order's Internal Regulations, the Council of the Order set the date of Saturday, January 28, 2023 for the holding of the new Elective General Assembly.

In this respect, the Council of the Order specifies that :

  • the electoral list drawn up on 02 December 2022 includes 1623 voters;
  • the quorum is no longer required for the holding of the meeting;
  • access to the room is conditioned by the tally at the entrance;
  • the list of the tally is transmitted to the President of the General Assembly;
  • the President of the General Assembly calls the roll of the Engineers who present an identity document before voting;
  • as for the representation mandates, only the proxies established according to the format decided by the Council are valid, it being understood that the production of the stamps for 2022 is completed.

The outgoing Council of the Order invites all Civil Engineers registered on the electoral list to participate massively in the work of the General Assembly in order to give a strong legitimacy to the incoming Council of the Order.
